What to know
- Fences may not be taller than 8 feet, measured from the inside grade of the property.
- All fence materials must be new and made for fencing.
- Privacy fences need metal posts: at least 13-gauge every 8 feet or 15-gauge every 6 feet, with metal caps and brackets. Boards must be at least 2x4 cedar or treated lumber.
