Based on City of Granbury published sources. Confirm with Building Inspections before you build.
Do you need a permit?
Check with the city. Sheds are listed on Granbury's Residential Accessory Structure Permit Application. We couldn't find any size at which a small shed is exempt, so confirm with Building Inspections before you buy or build.
What to know
- The application asks for the shed's square footage and material (metal, wood or prefab).
- You must list any existing accessory structures on the lot.
- Minimum foundation, pier or anchorage requirements apply. Electricity or plumbing needs separate contractor paperwork.
